As it says, my recordings and live TV are fine for a few days after a reboot the it will just getting choppy until I reboot again.

Before this issue started I had a single computer setup that had no issues. A few weeks ago I changed the setup - moving the original single comp to another room and setting up a client using the original comp as the server. At that time I saw 3.1.1 was available so I installed that on the client and updated the server. A few days later I noticed the choppy audio starting. I was running SAF so I switched to CCCP (which almost worked perfectly except rewinding blue-ray rips) but a couple of days later the choppiness is back.

I've not installed any of the patches yet and I don't see any dealing with audio choppiness anyway. I'm also not seeing any support messages about choppy sound so it's probably something particular about my setup - I just can't guess what it is. I'm hoping the attached logs will provide an explanation (though I couldn't see anything myself).

Thanks for any help!

I had a similar problem (and still do) with occassional choppy audio, then I started to read on the web about Latency problems, I downloaded a utility called "DPC latency checker" which tests if there is any issues in my PC in streaming real time data. Mine was due to the wireless connection.

I wasn't streaming through the wireless for my video but the wireless card was interfering with the playback of locally stored video on the PC. If I disconnect from the wireless it all comes good, and if I reconnect its still OK until some time down the track the issue comes back (usually several days). Its also no coincidence that the microwave oven in the kitchen can cause this to kick off on my 2.4GHz wireless link. In your case you have recently moved your PC, if it has an active wireless card, try disconnecting the link as a test.
