Hi.

Windows Firewall disabled
NOD32 disabled
nDroidServiceSetup-2.0.2.0.exe installed
username admin
password admin
port 8790
IP server 192.168.178.2
nDroid on Samsung S3 and WiFi.
The application remains in research.
Not is it possible to enter new configuration parameters, except by uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

The default password is password, if you change it make sure to change it with the nDroid Service and also the NextPVR web server (although that doesn't apply for initial download).

You can go to the Android Settings -> Apps and stop the nDroid app then use "Clear Data" to return to a clean state and re-enter the network details. The next version of nDroid (TE) will detect a network connection failure and allow resetting details but this is not available with the current release version.

If you continue to have problems, ZIP and attach the nDroid Service logs and I'll take a look.

Cheers,
Brian

I left everything default, then I changed from both sides.

I had tried before but it didn't work.

Where can I find the log?

And then I would like to know more about how to open ports. UDP. TCP. ecc.

If you change the password for the nDroid Service you will need to restart the service for the change to take effect.

Not sure what you did wrong but if you "Force Stop" any Android app and then select "Clear Data" it will reset the app to a state where it has been newly installed.

Depending on Windows version the logs will be in...

Windows Vista, 7, Server 2008: C:\Users\Public\
Windows XP, Server 2003: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\

...there will be a sub-folder "Beetec Services\nDroid Service\logs.

You only need to open 8790 & 8791 for HTTP/TCP.

Sorry but those logs don't tell me anything and there should be more of them. I'm not quite sure what went wrong but it looks like the service wasn't installed correctly or you installed it then uninstalled it and deleted the other logs. I've never seen anything like that before.

Also, please don't use RAR for compressing files - it's not a format I use and it isn't particularly convenient for me to try and view them. Use some form of zip compression please.

I uninstalled everything and reinstalled everything in the past.
Though the channels are left.
How do I remove everything clean and start from scratch?

Uninstalled NextPVR and nDroid.
Delete the folders in a user and in programs.
Reinstalled NextPVR and nDroid.
Tune Channels.
Turned off windows firewall.

OK, that's a better set of log files. One thing I can see is there doesn't appear to have been a successful connection from the app to the nDroid Service. Are you 100% sure the firewall is turned off and that you don't have any other network security software which might be blocking a connection?
