I've just reset everything back up after our house burnt down to the ground in May. Our new house is built on our same lot and I decided to set back up the htpc yesterday. Everything works well except the channels won't map to the schedules direct channels as before. They stay with the scanned number instead of the real channel numbers. I've retried 3 times but it's still the same.

Win7 Ultimate , NPVR 3.1.1 with r1 patch. Is there a special trick to map the channels for the guide?

Thanks,

Don't create the one at a time or NextPVR's numbering will get in the way. Remove them all from the HDPVR device, select import, and all the channels you have selected on SD will be imported to the correct channel.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm using a Hvr 2250 dual hd card. When I scan the channels, they get numbered 1 to 40 when I go to details and use schedules direct to map the chqannels they stay with the scanned numbers instead of the channel numbers. I can't figure out how to get it mapping.

I was reading from your specs for lack of any other info. Analog and Digital mapping in North America is manual, the HDPVR was much easier.

Hi Martin,
I did map each channel to the guide but it still doesn't show the real channels. What next?

Hi paf077,
Of course you can change the channel numbers in Settings->Channels->Details if you wish. Have you tried to Update EPG yet?

Hi Zeb,
Yes I reloaded the guide 3 times. In details , the numbers don't include the . frequency example 5.1 shows up as 51 when I try to input the channels manually.

NextPVR won't take the period integer numbers only. You are not alone many ATSC users are annoyed by this.

I've got cable so integers are fine with me, but this has me wondering just exactly what sub meant when he wrote this in the 3.1.1 announcement:

From the change log:

Quote:-'channel details' and 'bulk map' screens will now take ATSC OTA major.minor numbers into account when trying to find channel match when user switches epg source to Schedules Direct.
