Attached is the latest WebRadio that I have been using for months now, but there still might be issues

Changes

- built with .Net 4.0
- 20+ plus bug fixes many more stations stream
- removes hidden dependency on GBPVR registry
- removed vlc CLI option that has been removed
- Single installer (now use Lao Pan's hires images for bling http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...dio-Plugin )
- initial support for web client (sent http url to client)
- supports steaming video (see next post)

Internet TV setup in Web Radio uses either a direct http or mms stream or XBMC/Boxee PLX files for playback. Web Radio doesn't support the screen scraping PLX links

1. Required Programs

- get rtmpdump from here http://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/forum/viewtopi...1024#p4182 for none http streams
- get a current ffmpeg from here http://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/ It will use NextPVR's but it is obsolete.
- install them wherever you'd like (you can put them under NPVR in Program File somewhere.

2. Update WebRadio.xml with the following

<ffmpeg>PathTo\ffmpeg.exe</ffmpeg>
<rtmpdump>PathTo\rtmpdump.exe</rtmpdump>

You can have optional command line for ffmpeg (here is an example)

<ffmpeg_video_option>-vcodec libx264 -preset ultrafast -acodec copy -g 15</ffmpeg_video_option>

You can play with buffering, in bytes and delay in seconds for streams that start off slow

<VideoBuffer>2048000</VideoBuffer>
<VideoDelay>20</VideoDelay>
<VideoPostDelay>0</VideoPostDelay>

3. Finding your own URLS

Search for rtmpdump tutorial for examples of how to get the urls yourself. This is pretty good http://pxnh.wordpress.com/2010/08/21/rtm...d-tcpdump/ RTMPExplorer might help http://www.videohelp.com/tools/RTMPExplorer

4. Example start point. Store as TVStations.xml in the WebRadio Plugins folder This has a PLX and a direct URL

Code:
<Stations>
  <StationList>
    <Type>VideoMenu</Type>
    <Title>whufclee playlist</Title>
    <Description>Streaming TV</Description>
    <Icon>tv.png</Icon>
    <MenuFile>http://whufclee.googlecode.com/svn/Navi-X/pluginhomepage.plx</MenuFile>
  </StationList>
  <Station>
    <Type>Video</Type>
    <StreamType>ffmpeg</StreamType>
    <Title>VevoTV</Title>
    <Description></Description>
    <Icon>VevoTV.png</Icon>
    <Genre>Music Video</Genre>
    <Target>rtmp://vevohp2livefs.fplive.net:443/vevohp2live-live/ --playpath stream2272000 --swfUrl http://cache.vevo.com/a/swf/versions/4/player.swf --pageUrl http://www.vevo.com/tv --live --timeout 10</Target>
    <HomeURL>http://www.vevo.com</HomeURL>
    <Country>World</Country>
    <BitRate>720</BitRate>
  </Station>
</Stations>

Thanks Paul. I use it too but I don't update it much here so it gets harder and harder to clean and package it.

Hi Martin
Installed WebRadio 4 over the top of 3.7, removed GBPVR reg key and upgraded to vlc v2.3

Had a slight panic attack when the Last Played started getting smaller - but it is now keeping 8 items (was 10 before) which is fine.

Managed to confuse the plugin once - I think it was when I navigated out to the Main Menu by mistake with a station still playing (Jethro Tull Radio).
After that every Station selected switched immediately to Jethro Tull Radio. Restarting NPVR cleared it.
If it happens again I'll try and get logs.

Slightly confused me with the first post - trying to work out how I was hiring images Big Grin

Great plugin - now I'll have to see if I can get internet TV from Taiwan - WAF would go through the roof Cool
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh

Looks as though it's not showing the opus or ogg stations - also just noticed its showing the stuck Jethro Tull on the last 3 entries above.
In addition while an Opus channel is playing it shows the Ogg icon.

martin the wordpress url in post 3, section 3 is no good, looks like you copied the shortened display text of a link instead of the link itself.

Thanks for doing the research! for some reason ogg was never a valid type when loading from a csv file. I'm surprised that it worked before. I've updated post one with the fix. It's easy while I keep things in sync.

@johnsonx42 thanks, fixed, the link.
