Missing a channel

NPVR finds most of the channels I am interested in, but not ATSC physical channel 8 Digital sub channels 1, 2, and 3. It also does not find NTSC channel 8 (but I really don't care). The TV that is on the same cable does see 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3. No channels are found below physical channel 10. The Tuner is a HaupPage WinTv-2250 (8851). I found the thread that indicated that I should delete the 8851 portion of the devices configuration XML file. That allowed the NPVR to find all except this one channel that I am interested in.

I expect there is more information that would be useful to help debug, but, I don't know what it is.

I installed the update and the problem is still occurring. I tried adding the logs, and ran into a message about them being too large. I am attempting to attach a zip.

Your tuner isn't seeing any signal on physical channel 8, so it's not delivering any data. Nothing in NPVR can do anything about this. First question is are you 100% certain you mean physical channel 8 and not logical channel 8?

An old style rake that I bought before the digital switch. Moderately directional. Moderate gain. Good signal from 2 trough about 70

true, that's why many broadcasters have abandoned VHF-Lo, and hence why I created the "ATSC 7-51" tuning file that sub includes. Here the old VHF-Lo stations 2, 4, & 5 switched to UHF channels at the digital switch-over, while the VHF-Hi stations 7, 9, 11, & 13 stayed on their traditional channels (though they all used various UHF channels for their digital broadcasts during the transition/test period).

TV's do tend to have more sensitive tuners than PC tuner cards. You might try an amplifier near the antenna if you don't have one already. However your tuner is reporting nothing at all for that channel; the Strength=80, Quality=6 is what it reports for every empty channel.
