Jorm,

Just a FYI, the dll that you have on the wiki isn't the latest and greatest as per the code you have on the wiki. You might wanna rebuild it and then update the dll file.

No worries. I'm starting to learn more about the plugins so I complied it on my own... so it was a good lesson for me.

Would it be possible to add a parameter to the batch file that allows changing the search radius for theaters? For example, the Fandango site has an option that you can click to search from 5 to 30 miles from your zip code. This is passed in the querystring as distance=XX. I live in a small town where there are no theaters. The plugin currently returns nothing for me. If I go to Fandango and click the 30 miles option, though, I get listings there. I've found that you can change the querystring to a number higher than 30 and that works, as well. For me, that's ideal. From where I live, the theaters that I normally go to are either 16 or 40 miles away, so I change the querystring to 50 and get everything I need. So, could you add a (optional) parameter to the batch file to set the "distance" variable?

An even better option would be to make use of the Fandango "Favorite Theaters" option. That way, I could have just the theaters I want appear! [Image: biggrin.gif]

Just some wishlist items -- thanks!

I was thinking about adding a filter list for theaters, so you filter out the ones you do not want.

I will look at fixing the range.

The other thing I was thinking of doing is adding the getlistings.bat to the PostEPGUpdate.bat file so it auto updates the listings on a nightly basis.

Regal cinemas aren't being listed. how do I fix that, or does the update include that?
Thanks

ecorbin,

I am not able to get a url that specifies the distance. It uses a session cache or cookie to switch the distance. What do you think about supporting multiple zip codes?

I think we should make a chance in the engine first. The reasoning. Shows come out for the week on Friday. We can add a switch to the executable -day friday

So if the day does not equal friday it just exits, otherwise it pulls it down. That way we are not hitting fandango every night for no purpose.

My regal is listed. Make sure that it is in the 15 mile range. If it is post or pm me your zip code.

Regarding the refresh on just fridays that sounds like a great idea. Having said that, would the refresh button then be removed?
