I am at a loss

i have had numerous problems with errors in the past so I decided to start fresh. I removed all traces of the program and started fresh. Now I have all sorts of capture errors and cashes. I honestly don't know where to begin.

previously I had NPVR working fairly well with some sleep/hibernate issues but now I cannot even get things set up

Any advise?

Wait a minute.... I do remember having issues with a channel that does not have any information. Whenever the EPG kicks in it crashes. I was forcing the EPG to update and that's when it kept crashing. I have now disabled that chanel from updating. We shall see tomorrow morning

I live in Ottawa and the OTA EPG data is garbage except on CBC and on many channels the data from 2 in the morning isn't even enough to get you to the next morning. Two things I see in your logs

- you might not have the 3.1.1 patches installed so you EPG update messes up the tuner
- the QAM tuner isn't disabled
- you do EPG scans during live tv an known NextPVR issue

Also not the Global sometimes switches to another feed so you can't count on it. Sometimes it is 14-1 and 14-2 and sometimes it is just 14-3

You're right about the update. I just re-installed the first 3.1.1 from my download folder. I will run the patches as well. I will disable the QAM tuner too.

Crashed again last night so now I have installed the latest patch. Fingers crossed

Performing better now. EPG is kinda sketchy. I will install the TVlistings plugin
