Hi,

I'm new to NPVR & am just setting it up along with XBMC, having moved from WMC. One thing I liked in WMC was that I could set a max disk usage figure, and when recordings hit that size limit, older recording were deleted to make space for new ones. I couldn't find anything equivalent in NPVR - am I missing it, or is the option not there?

Thanks!

No you're not missing it, there is no equivalent setting in NextPVR.

If you record series, you can set the number of recordings to keep, but not connected to disk usage.

If I have old stuff it is usually because it is something I want to keep, so an auto-delete of old recordings is that last thing I'd want.
Sorry, but all I can suggest is "disc space is cheap" but an indication of disc space remaining on the record menu might be of value in a future update?

Have you got Iains System plugin? That's a quick way to peek the diskspace, and it gives lots of more info.

I keep the NPVR Desktop Gadget running on the PC that I use most often. It shows free disk space on the server at the bottom of its display: http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...ktopGadget
i3-3570k, 8GB RAM, Win10 Pro, Nvidia GT710, HDHomeRun (OTA), NPVR 6.x
On a clear disk, you can seek forever...
