It's not actually legal in the UK - that's why people who maybe have or have not done it Big Grin are very reluctant to share.

Try Google for what info you have mentioned already and adapt from other regions where the satco doesn't own the Polutitions Wink
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh

What is not legal in UK, multiroom or using Acamd/NewCS?

Both

They made it virtually illegal to even discuss it in the UK. "IT" being using an unauthorised decoder - either software or using something like an openbox/skybox (still software I guess?).
"Multiroom" isn't as useful as Terrestrial DVB-T as there are not that many useful channels sharing transponders. And bypassing the extra subscription for it places it outside the law as well.

Not forgetting the need to keep regularly scanning transponders using new lists from Kingofsat as bskyb/astra keep moving channels between transponders and/or satellites.
Sky boxes handle this automatically with proprietary data.

Can they really do that?? Here they don't like you using anything other than their own STB's but as long as you have a valid subscription there's nothing they can do about, ofcource they try their best to make your life hell by moving channels every now and then Big Grin

Looks like "the end is nigh" HD channels slowly going, new card on it's way. Strengthened Card<>box pairing getting implemented ?

Just as a deleted my PVR150 analogue card from setup. ;(
