I was recently hunting for this menu, but it's nowhere to be seen?
How did I lose it?

in Settings, uncheck Misc2->Show new metadata screens in Recordings. That will return to the old view. The new screens are not ready to use for Recordings yet, they're available just to preview the feature.

Ah, that's where it went. I will need to switch it off to archive, then on again.
sub, any chance of us getting BOTH the metadata and archive functions in the next update?

ta,

k.

Yes, the next release should be able to do that.

Sorry, no - not at this stage. I've been pretty busy with day job stuff the last few months.

This is a feature request as I like to see an "A" in viewing the recordings, so I know which ones have been archived that way when my local drive gets full I can archive more.

Also I can only view the last 100 days of recording's, does the DB drop earlier recordings or is this a limit you set in the config file?

Thanks

-1 for adding the A For me that is noise as I use this for categorizing not archiving. I have recordings going back to 2012.

No, there is nothing like that.

The Archive feature is really just a mechanism for moving recordings between the various recording volumes you've got configured. The app doesn't keep track that it's "archived" a recording in the past, so couldn't show your A indicator. I don't think I like the idea anyway though. Like Martin above, I'm pretty sure most people just use it for categorizing recording. ie "Kids", "Movies" etc.
