Sorry for this question, but I read the "Read me first" but it had no link to the zip file. I then looked through the posts, and found the v2 release and downloaded the file. I then installed the add-on, enabled and configured it, but I do not know where to find it? I already have NPVR add-on up and running. I am using the latest XBMC on a Mac with default skin. Thanks.

http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post476129 As an NMT user if you find that the XBMC PVR Addon doesn't work for you I'd try the Web Client.

The XBMC PVR works fine, I just want to try X-NEWA. I already did everything in the video and it worked the same way. But where is the menu option for X-NEWA?

From the Readme "Under Programs it shows up as a new option"

Thanks, Programs does not show up under default skin for whatever reason, so I switched skin and was able to get to it. It works great. Live tv actually works, as it does not from the main menu one (the tuner not available issue).

It would be nice if it is possible to get a main menu icon to go directly to the NEWA web client (instead of the current livetv). It is better and more capable than the current NPVR add-on. Also, after first use, the web client interface uses low resolution and menu items are barely readable.

pkscout has a skin mod that will do that. Other options are to use XBMC options to add an icon to X-NEWA on the main screen or autostart X-NEWA. I case you missed it you can configure X-NEWA to autostart web client

That sounds more like a crash of some sort and I'd need logs to see why. How do you leave web client to XMBC with the context menu key whihc I prefer or with Exit. There is a config.xml setting to have Exit restart NextPVR too in case the default res show.

Thanks, I got the autostart set. I also added an icon shortcut to Programs, cannot do it for LiveTV which is too bad, but I will check the skin mod. I simply use Exit to leave the web client. The first time the resolution looks good, but the UI looks pixelated. Then upon subsequent runs it looks terrible. Logs attached.

Since you use Exit did you make the config.xml change? http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...p&p=474932

I set my icon under Video so I don't have to scroll to Programs. I also have Video as my default so it is two keystrokes.

Just a quick note, the Gotham Confluence mod on my github account isn't really a supported mod, it's just a conglomeration of all the mods I do to the skin to have it do what I'd like. That said, you're welcome to try it at:

https://github.com/pkscout/skin.confluen...master.zip

It will install as a separate skin, so you have to enable it just like you would any other skin. The thing most folks don't like is that I eliminated the season and episode number from the preview on the home screen. To enable the XNEWA stuff, make sure XNEWA is installed and then go to the skin settings. There will be a new option for NextPVR integration that will let you do some things like put the XNEWA Web Client in the menu under LiveTV.

I am not sure what this does, but I added <FakeExit>false</FakeExit> to my config.xml file under General, restarted recording service, same behavior. I changed it to true, and the problem with the low resolution is still there. Nothing changed.
