Resolution issue with nextPVR interface

Hi. We just upgraded our ageing TV with a brand spanking new LG Smart tv.
All is good, but when we turn on the TV in the morning the NextPVR interface is only quarter screen. It never happened on our old 720p Samsung.

I've set the resolution in NextPVR to 1920x1080, but it still happens.
I've upgraded my video drivers and upgraded my version of NextPVR to the latest.

Wifey complains and then I'm in the dog box

I can't seem to replicate the issue, so I think it's some combination of Windows going to sleep when the TV is off, and then waking up and nextPVR is trying to auto set the resolution and failing. That's a guess. I'm unsure they why it is ignoring the 1920x1080 setting.

Any pointers from anyone appreciated.

Can you see if this helps? It attempts to detect resolution changes, and will adjust the app size when in fullscreen mode.

do you have an AMD/Ati card? If so you have to turnoff the event monitor.

Thanks for that - put it on last night. This morning got the hard word from wife. still back in quarter screen

Thanks for that! I'll disable it and see if it helps. Unfortunately I still can't replicate the issue, apart from leaving the PC overnight. So I will know in the morning

We don't have much to go on. You'll probably need to post some logs, captured immediately after you see the problem happen.

Will do - I might work also on replicating the issue. First step then towards resolving it

(assuming the ati/amd event monitor fix doesn't resolve it)

I have noticed on other artifact which may be related to the event monitor. After waking from sleep, all the text is rather jaggedy...once yo uplay a video, it all goes back to normal though.
