nextPVR cannot communicate with HDHomeRunPlus

I'm using Windows 7, fully updated. I have installed DirectX 9 and AC3Filter. Firewall settings have been set properly. I can access the HDHomeRunPlus And play using Windows media player and HDHomeRun VIEW Software. Using nextPVR : All channels have been scanned and appear to be correct. EPG data is also displaying correctly.

The problem I'm having is, when I go to Watch a channel, I come up with a message "Unable to communicate with recording server". At this time I am not using a Web server. It is a standalone computer setup, Web server has not been enabled. At one time it was playing, but I could not record anything. I reinstalled everything Using the step-by-step guide from both the HDHomeRunPlus And the nextPVR Website, now I cannot play any channels using nextPVR. Other media players still work.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'd run the install again. The NRecord.log is not the right one for a new install or update.

If it's still not working after a reinstall, check if the 'NPVR Recording Service' service is running.

I have actually reinstalled it twice before, but I still took your advice and reinstalled the software again. It now seems to be working. Still testing it. Now I need to relocate the save files to a network drive, a Corsair Voyager air 1TB, So my TVs will have access to it.
