Failed install XP in VM (Fusion)

I have run the NextPVR v3.3.8 installer in a clean XP VM (Fusion 5 on a MacPro). The install seemed to go fine (all prog 7 data dirs created, exes installed etc).

Installed DirectX too and checked that 9.0c was present.

However if I try to run any of the NextPVR exe's I get a "application failed to initialise" error.

There are no files in the log directory.

Is this a problem with running under a VM or have I made some other basic error?

Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the quick response.

It seems the problem was with .Net - I re-installed it manually along with WIC and the programs now load OK. Presumably the installation via the NextPVR installer did not work properly.

Now to set it up!
