imageGrabLite problems with "bad" series.xml files?

I was looking at some of my log files this morning and noticed that the imageGrabLite.log file from the nightly EPG update was ending prematurely and showing an error. (see imageGrabLite-withExitingGangland.log in attached .zip)

I then tried deleting the existing "Gangland Undercover.xml" (copy included in .zip) and manually re-running the post-EPG update command. This time it went on to Kosher Soul (see imageGrabLite-DeletedGangland.log). So then I re-deleted the Gangland Undercover.xml file and the Kosher Soul.xml file, and again re-ran imageGrabLite.

This time it made it to The Middle (imageGrabLite-TheMiddleProblem.log). This one had a different error.

And removing all 3 of the .xml files didn't help. (i.e. I still got the same error with The Middle). So I think that the problem with The Middle is something different.

UPDATE: (includes a new, cumulative .zip file)

I found out that I didn't have the latest beta of imageGrabLite installed. After updating it, the problem with The Middle went away. It then went on and died at The Social Network (imageGrabLite-SocialNetwork.log).

Removing all of the problem .xml files let the command complete successfully (imageGrabLite-Completes.log).

I was going to says get the newer beta. The are all related, when you made the first pass for all of these theTVDB must have been down however I can't explain why the movie the social network failed. Could you send the new xml file from Media\Shows when you have a chance.

FYI, just in case it wasn't clear, for Gangland Undercover.xml and Kosher Soul.xml, everytime imageGrabLite runs, it re-downloads the "bad" files. So I have to manually delete them each time before re-running imageGrabLite in order to get it to go past them.

Could you send the new xml file from Media\Shows when you have a chance

Gotcha now. Kosher Soul isn't on thetvdb so iGL should go to TVRage. Gangland Underground doesn't have any art http://thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=292050&lid=7 so it also should goes to TVRage to get it, iGL is an image Grabber after all. Renaming might still work since the correct file is in the Series folder.

This new beta should fix two problem with tvrage files, hopefully enough to get through it.

Consider updating thetvdb if you want better results.

It did get through Gangland Underground and Kosher Soul OK. It still died with the same error on The Social Network.

I don't really care about "good results" for these. (They're shows that are being scheduled with my S01E01 rule. And I'll likely just delete them immediately.) I just want them to not cause imageGrabLite to die and not process the other recordings that I do care about. :-)

Ok, this should handle movies better as long as sub's download is turned off.
