Have audio, no video on some recordings

This seems a little strange. I have a number of recurring recordings. The recordings on the major network channels have no problems. The ones on what would have been in the old days UHF channels record audio but no video, just a black screen video with some green blocking at times. HDHomerun extend, Verizon FIOS and windows 7. I am at work right now and have no ability to run logs, just wondering if I am missing something obvious.

Do the recordings end up zero bytes long, or a realistic size? If the later, do you get audio/video if you playback in another player like VLC?

Recordings are full size and no other player makes a difference. I am going to play with codecs and see if that helps.

If you can give me the download link to a short example recordings, I can check what is wrong with the file.
