Doing a DVB-S scan with the new version takes an age and only produces channels from two transponders by the looks of it.
10714 and 12266. If required I could restore to the previous versin without too much trouble,

Attached is scanprob.zip a clean log from a scan with the new version just now.
At http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...i-scanning is a full clean working scan from the previous version a couple of days ago.

Been peering at logs and is highosc and switch the other way round? Getting beyond my limits of knowledge.

edit: looking at new setup panel it has LOF1 = 9750, Switch 10600 and LOF2 11700. I've not knowingly changed these.

Swap your switch and LOF2 values.

Yeah, but which is right? Scan on previous version works fine (just restored). i.e. has it always been wrong and sub has fixed it or (cries of "impossible") has sub made an error this time?

It was noticed during the pre-release (and took a long time to suss out), but then I forgot about it which probably means sub did too as no-one else seemed to be suffering from it. Last thing he said about it was that he'd think about what needed to be done to fix it, but then it fell off the radar.

Swapping the values works for me, but it has to be done before every scan, as the swapped values don't stick.

Ah, right. It's been a nightmare recently with Sly changing frequencies, FEC and stuff over the last few days. I haven't needed DVB-S scans for a while and all of a sudden they're back.

I think I'll get all my scanning and stuff sorted out before moving back onto the new version.

Sorry, can you check this one fixes it?

Many thanks the prompt fix sub - that seems to have fixed that scanning problem.

One other oddity I noticed after a DVB-T scan was that there is generally no 'provider' information - this results in a blank list if you choose to sort on provider - so it is acting as a filter as well as sorter, possibly not what was expected. (just an observation).

Good. I've updated the installer to include this patch.

Is this on the search results screen, if you click on the Provider column header?

This is on the scan results screen when right clicking and asking to sort on provider - shows no results. choosing either of the other rightclick sort options populates the box again. (it looks like no provider info is given on my transmitter for dvb-t)

clicking on provider seems to produce a different result each time, but with the first 2 entries staying the same !
