Recently I have had a number of Recorded Shows which when played on the PCH has no video, but does have Audio [on the PCH].
When I play the show using NPVR on the PC, the the same occurs (Black Screen, with sound), but if I jump forward a wee bit the show seems to work fine.
When I try to jump forward on the PCH it keeps jumping back to the start, as if the timeline is out of whack, so I never get to see the show; I just hear the audio.
Attached are logs from the two failed tests runs from the PCHA100.
What do you reckon, was it just a flaky recording? These are recordings where the computer is woken up by sub's great new double wake-event fix, but maybe with only 1 min padding it stuffs up getting a signal lock? I will try 2mins padding. The shows are recorded using a USB-Tuner; could it be the device being slow to wake up?
Cheers

- So first I ran the file through (free) Avidemux and saved as an AVI - on the PCH I got Video but no sound.
- So I then tried to run it through (free) MKVToolNix which normally works well, but it said something like the file didn't even exist and could not open it i.e. the normal audio and video streams never even came up.
- So I then ran it through a program I found called TS-Doctor and it seemed to fix it, so I imported it and it worked (even cut the ads for me, very cool) - I am not promoting the program btw, but I did buy it as my trial had run out.
