Anyone getting any success with the latest version of Kodi - I am getting 0% buffering and no playing on some channels in Kodi v15.

Is this a known issue?

I am getting 0% buffering with Kodi v15, but it eventually plays the channel. It seems to happen every couple of minutes for me.

I've been testing Silicon Dust's new DVR software with Kodi 15 and it sucks though NPVR seems to work better. I get pixelation and buffering.
I may go back to Kodi 14 if this keeps ups.

This is really a rather pointless discussion since Kodi Isengard runs on so many platforms. I for one haven't seen any problems on with my ts files on Windows and look forward to trying OE stable for my Chromebox and RPi2 when they come out.

Well... I'll be more specific since I'm having the same problem on a system I just built:
Windows 8.1
Ceton InfiniTV 6 PCIe
2.9Ghz Core i3 w/ 16GB ram + SSD HD
Sage DCT 2.6 x64 w/ NetworkRecorder.dll plugin
NextPVR 3.4.8
Kodi 15

NextPVR works fine, guide data works, channels work (picture in picture hangs, but i dont use that) Once i go into Kodi, any channel i pick gives a 0% buffering message and nothing comes up.

I'd like to use NextPVR over other solutions like mediaportal since i only need a live tv backend and not all the extras, I would gladly donate for a working solution.

I really, really hate having to guess on my replies when logs aren't posted, but you will need to make sure that in NetworkRecorder.xml you add enough <delay></delay> to buffer for Kodi. 2000 won't be enough.

Edit: Also you very well may need the SageDCT donator version to use ffmpeg decoding which is more Kodi compatible.

I sincerely apologize for not including logs, I'm new to the HTPC scene and did not expect such a quick response.

I've attached the logs i could find from SageDCT, NPVR, and KODI along w/ screenshots of the kodi buffering problem and my LAV audio/video settings. I've also attached my networkrecorder.xml file. I'm using a 5000 delay, not the standard 2000, I'm also using LAV for everything in NPVR. Is there something about the donator version of SageDCT that you had in mind as a possible fix?

These logs are from the moment i start the SageDCT and NPVR services, then I went into kodi, enabled debugging, configured and enabled the NPVR addon, then went to a channel to get the buffering error. Then i shut everything down and collected the logs.

NPVR backend seems to play this channel just fine and in fact, even when kodi is 'buffering' a .TS file is accumulating in the temp folder.

If I can be of any further assistance, please let me know...

No problem, it saves both of us some effort for tough problems it is inevitably required.

Thanks I think it is the donator version you need. It cleans out the multiple program id that go in the ts file.

I just signed up and donated so as soon as i get access to the SageDCT 2.7.4 x64 i'll give it a try

as i side note... i changed all of my decoders to the ffmpeg i had installed (ffdshow tryouts rev4530 feb 9 2014) and while nextPVR created the ts files, it displayed only a black screen... so yeah... hopefully the fixes to ffmpeg in the new sageDCT fix the problem

In SageDCT donator there is an ffmpeg muxing option you probably need. ffdshow tryout are good but I find LAV best overall when Microsoft decoders don't work. That doesn't apply to Kodi though, it uses built in ffmpeg or h/w or both depending on the type.
