This evening I updated to the latest NPVR and noticed the channels in the EPG were out of order. Numerical order, that is. I deleted the channels and rescanned them and downloaded the EPG again, but that didn't cure it. Tried that a couple of times, restarted NPVR, restarted the computer, then thought, 'This is like kicking the vacuum cleaner when it won't start. It's satisfying, but is unlikely to work.' I've attached logs in the hope someone can see what I did wrong. There's a screengrab of NPVR in the archive to show what I am seeing.

Martin.

That's weird. The screenshot is what you see before any channels are setup, but the log file clearly shows a successful EPG update.

Can you try again with this updated NextPVR.exe, then post your npvr.log?

If you right click on the Window, and select 'Channels' from the context menu, in the Window that pops up, there is a drop down at the top of the screen with channel groups, like 'All Channels'. Are you seeing your channels listed? if you have multiple-channel groups, check the others too.

They are all listed under 'All channels' but there's nothing under 'Digital channels' or 'DVB-T channels' although I don't know if there should be.

In the TV Guide screen, if you click Groups at the top of the screen, can you switch back to 'All Channels'? I suspect you're set to 'DVB-T channels'

Smile It was set to All Channels. I clicked Digital Channels, and DVB-T Channels, then back on All Channels and the EPG appeared. I was just about to do a full reinstall too.

Thank you very much.

Dare I ask how I get the BBC channels back to 1,2,3 etc? And delete all the adult and religious stations?

Martin.

@martink - seeing you post again has me chuckling about that whole "martin" thing I started last year when you joined... ah, good times

You can edit channel names, change the logical numbers, and delete channels in Settings->Channels.

You have a better memory than me, I can barely remember what I had for supper.

Thank you! I better do a partition backup while everything is working OK.
