Checking on a scheduled recording after it should have finished, I received the message "channel not found, deleted."
With at least four copies of that channel, what went wrong?
Some one that can read the logs and determine what happened would be greatly appreciated. I'm just not sure what/where to look.

Where did you see that message exactly? It doesn't sound familiar.

come on RTKAT, you've actually participated in the discussion thread about posting complete logs, and then you come and post a support request with only partial logs? Of course the partial logs you've posted show absolutely nothing... and it'd be nice to tell us which recording this happened on, so that we don't have look blindly through your logs for some sort of problem (but it's easy when your logs are essentially empty!)

It shows in this screen shot. I zipped the ENTIRE log folder. I can't help it that is all that is there.

Do you have a WWTV-HD channel on your Settings->Channels screen? If you do, have you maybe deleted and rescanned your channels since originally setting up this 48 Hours recording? If you don't think either of these are the problem, you'll probably need to supply your npvr.db3 file.

Yes, WWTV-HD channel shows with 4 sources. But, you may have nailed it with rescan. I added a second HD HomeRun Connect on Tuesday so I would have 4 tuners. A very good chance that setting to record 48 hours was done before the new device was added.
I will keep an eye on this and see if it happens again.

Basically the recording was for a channel ID that no longer exists in your database. I'm sure it existed at the time your scheduled it, but that channel ID no longer exists, likely because you've been tinkering and removed and old WWTV-HD and recreated it (and it's now got a different channel ID behind the scenes).

something went wrong then... you can see yourself there are only 4 logs there, whereas there should upwards of 20, and they show no recordings at all. all they show is watching live tv on 2 channels, and only one tuner.

as to the cause of the problem, you do have to be careful how you add channels to new tuners. normally you should just allow NPVR to copy the channels from the existing device to the new device, which will also auto-merge them with the existing channel id's. if for some reason you do need to scan and then hand-merge the channels, when you ctrl-select the two (or more) versions of of the channel to be merged you have to ensure that you right-click on the *original* channel and select merge on that channel; if you right click one of the new channels and select merge there, everything will be merged into the new channel id and existing recordings will likely be fouled up.
