Nextpvr LiveTv: only a black screen :(

Hello,
I'm trying Nextpvr (for Kodi) on an old all-in-one pc with Win Vista and with an integrated decoder, but it doesn't seem to work correctly.
I've configured the device, scanned and found many channels, installed DirectShow codecs, but.. the TvGuide stays empty (no info) and the LiveTv only shows a black screen.

The pc also has Media center installed, and that program works instead (but I'd like to use Kodi).

What could be the problem?

EDIT: wait, I'm getting an error directly inside the config about an invalid TimeSpan string.. O_o
Also, the NPVR Recording System fails to start! WTF

We'll look at the black screen issue first - try watching live tv, then zip and attach your logs directory.

egads, what's taking so long? 2-1/2 minutes to get the client listener started, and no "OnStart() complete..." ever?

phaolo, can you try stopping the recording service (if it's running), then try running the following from a command prompt:

nrecord.exe RUN

does this result in any error messages shown on the screen?

Hey, maybe it's the same TimeSpan error of the UI!

Anyway, I've already tried reinstalling, disabling antivirus&firewall.. but nothing changed.. O_o

Yeah, it'll be something to do with that.

Can you zip and attach your config.xml? It's something to do with the <EPGUpdateTime> setting.

I didn't touch it, though (at least after reinstallation).

Let me guess.. it should be in seconds? lol

I think it's something to do with the 02.49.00 you've got in EPGUpdateTime. It'd normally have colon characters instead of periods. Might be something to do with Italian version of Windows. Try manually updating the config.xml to set them back to colons.
