Search menu HotKey

I see there are function keys for most of the home-screen menu items, but I didn't see any for the Search menu.
If none exists, has anyone come up with their own method? (not using NEWA or any other plugin, etc.)

If you edit config.xml and set <DefaultRadio>Search</DefaultRadio> then F6 should take you there.

thanx for your response.
I tried the "defaultRadio" thing before I posted, but it didn't seem to work for me.
All I got was a blank screen.
I'll give it another shot.


OMG: I really am getting old!
I don't even want to admit what I was doing wrong.
Anyhow, it seems to be working fine.
