Unable to Manually Update EPG

I am having trouble doing a Manual EPG update.

When I start it the Status window flashes up for a few seconds and nothing else happens.

I did an install of NPVR by stopping the service and installing over the top of current install just before my last attempt at doing manual EPG update

System is Win 10 with the latest "upgrade". I have recently installed a Dual USB tuner which records okay even when installed by itself.

I can get a full EPG using EPGCollector.

you appear to have a problem with your AF9015 device. you appear to have two of those (or a single dual-tuner device), but you have four capture sources for it (20, 21, 22, 23) of which at least the first one (20) doesn't work. capture sources 29 and 30 for your WinFast DTV Dongle Dual Filter devices seem to work fine.

I'd suggest you disconnect the AF9015 device, then go into Settings->Devices and delete any entries for that device; leave the WinFast DTV Dongle Dual Filter device(s), that one is fine. Finally exit NextPVR.exe, reconnect the AF9015 device and go back into Settings->Devices. It will re-detect the current instances of that device, and if you click "Setup" on each on it will offer to copy the channels over. Once that's done all should be well.

I did as you suggested but I was still unable to manually update the EPG.

I did the reverse and removed the Dongle. I was then able to update the EPG. I then reinstated the Dongle and I could still update the EPG.

I then noticed that I couldn't use TV Listings(or disable it in Settings) and the NEWA Gadget was no longer working.

I have fully uninstalled NPVR and reinstalled and everything is working again.

Is there a way to save all the settings and recording setups so that everything doesn't have to be setup again?

I was thinking along the lines of renaming the NPVR data folder, do the reinstall then replace the new NPVR data folder with the old one.
