I have a Silicon Dust HDHR3 and am wondering if it is compatible with Next PVR? Install of Next PVR went good on this Windows 7 machine but when I go into settings, devices it shows both of the HDHomerun tuners but when I scan no ch`s come in.Thanks in advance for any help as it would be nice to get my HDHomerun working again to record as to this day I still get no guide using Windows media Center.

Yes it works, but you need the Silcondust software installed on the server backend.

No if you installed the Silcondust software you have likely having a firewall problem.

If the device is showing up, but no channels showing during the scan, then it's almost certainly your firewall software blocking data arriving from the HDHR.

Turned off the firewall and still no luck.Trying a different computer and this time after going into devices it see`s the HDHomerun ( both tuners ) in devices then I hilight the device tuner and hit scan...Now I see Unable to start device!Click ok and it goes to Digital Channel Setup but never changes from scanning physical channel 2..Thanks again for the help that has been given so far...Sure would like to get my HDHomerun going again since the Windows Media Center let down!..This looks to be a nice program but I cant put my finger on what I am missing!

There is hundreds of people successfully using these devices with NextPVR, so no reason your shouldn't be able to to.

Try doing a scan, then post your npvr.log and I'll see if anything stands out.
