Hi All,
Thanks for reading this post.... Hope someone can help an ol' codger

My Tuner card is TBS6982 (brand new today) http://www.tbsdtv.com/products/tbs6982-d...-card.html
My old, now dead card was a TBS6981 http://www.tbsdtv.com/download/#tbs6981 also a DVB-S2 Dual Tuner PCIe Card

The install story for the old one is, plugged it in, turned PC on, installed drivers, install NextPVR, run next PVR.
Setup was... Devices found OK, recorder settings were... CI/CAM non. DiSEqC None. Sat Optus D1
LOF1 10750 SW 10750 LOF2 10750 (I didn't know any different)
Scanned & found all the NZ FTA channels... Wife & child happy Smile

Skip forward 3 years... replacing 6981 with 6982 & Install story is:

plugged it in, turned PC on, installed drivers, install NextPVR, run next PVR.
Setup was... Devices found OK, recorder settings were... CI/CAM non. DiSEqC None. Sat Optus D1
LOF1 10750 SW 10750 LOF2 10750
Scanned & found no channels... Wife & child not happy Sad

I used the blind scan tool from TBS & that found all the NZ channels (could watch them on their app too). I copied those settings to NextPVR.. No channels.
Windows firewall is off
Windows 10 home (old hardware & NextPVR were fine on here)

Logs attached.

Regards
Ralph

The logs show it going through the motions, with no errors, but the device never locks onto a signal.

In the logs, it doesn't look like you havd 10750/10750/10750 set for the LNB:

<highosc>10600</highosc>

New log file attached using 10750/10750/10750

I've tried both the original 10750's that worked on the older card & the LOF1 SW & LOF2 provided by the blind scan tool

Here's a new attachment... It found a test channel

Sorry, I don't know. There is no errors from NextPVR's perspective, but the device isn't locking onto the frequencies that it should be.

Usually I'd suggest double checking the connection, lnb settings, and location of your dish etc, but it sounds like you've confirmed these. Maybe there is something quirky about the drivers (stopping it from behaving 100% like other devices) - so maybe look for different versions of the drivers in the hopes they perform better.

Actually...

Looks like the LNB you're using is pointing at Optus D3 satellite, not Optus D1.

Does your LNB have one or two outputs? I'm guessing its oval shaped LNB that Sky were supplying for a while, which have two LNBs that point at at Optus D1 and Optus D3, and an integrated diseqc or tone switch. I don't have one of these myself, so aren't that familiar with them.
