No audio/video on 3.6.6

This is my first time on so not sure if this is the right place to post.
I am running Windows 10 in the UK. I previously used NPVR Version 3.5.7 with the following decoder settings which worked.

Video Decoders (Default Settings)
MPEG2 Video Disabled ffdshow video decoder
LAV Video Decoder does not work.
H.264 Video Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder Microsoft DTV-DVD Video
HEVC Video LAV Video Decoder Disabled

Audio Decoders (Default Settings)
MPEG1 Audio Microsoft DTV-DVD Audio Decoder Microsoft DTV-DVD Audio
AC3 Audio Microsoft DTV-DVD Audio Decoder Disabled
E-AC3 Audio LAV Audio Decoder Disabled
AAC Audio LAV Audio Decoder Disabled
HE-AAC Audio LAV Audio Decoder Disabled

I have installed NPVR version NPVRsetup_3_6_6 and am getting neither picture nor sound. I have installed various codec packs including CodecSetup-74518225, ffdshow_rev4532_20140717_clsid, K-Lite_Codec_Pack_1185_Mega, SAF 631, media.player.codec.pack.v4.4.0.setup.
In NPVRsetup_3_6_6 I have uninstalled and reinstalled and tried all alternative decoder options to no avail.

Any suggestions or advice will be very welcome.

Is this just a live tv problem? ie, If you play an existing recording, do you get audio and video?

Video Decoders (Default Settings)

Just to be clear, there is no 'default settings' when it comes to audio or video decoders. NextPVR doesn't include its own set of decoders, so pretty much everyone ends up with a different set of decoders, which depend on what they had available on their machine.

I have installed various codec packs including CodecSetup-74518225, ffdshow_rev4532_20140717_clsid, K-Lite_Codec_Pack_1185_Mega, SAF 631, media.player.codec.pack.v4.4.0.setup.

I and many others use the "unlocked" version of SAF because the "unlocked" version has the "best" decoders. If you have downloaded SAF and installed without the "unlocking" procedure, you might want to send a forum private message to Hoborg and ask for the "unlocked" version.

For DVB-T (Freeview) in the UK, you need to choose decoders for MPEG2 video and MPEG1 audio for SD channels and H264 video and HE AAC audio for HD channels.

Please record a show and then play the recording and then zip and attache the logs folder to a post telling us which show you recorded and that you could not play back. Thanks.

Try setting your audio renderer back to system default. Sometimes selection of other audio renderers cause missing audio.
