Has anyone researched how best to keep the time-of-day clock used by a cable TV settop box in sync with a PC's time-of-day clock? Is there a common "timebase trigger" that can be used to keep them together?
As of now, I check each week and after a reboot to make sure the two clocks show the same time-of-day, to the second. If left unattended, the clocks will drift apart to the point of missing showtime.
Thanks to the wizards who know stuff like this.
