This one has me wondering how can something work when it does not have anything to work with? I have two Silicone Dust HD Homerun connect units. So I should have four tuners. After a scan for channels in NextPVR, I come up with no sources for one of the PBS channels. This can be seen from the enclosed screen shot by the arrow. Channel shows up in the channel list. Tower is only 8 miles away so that is not the problem. If I go to the guide and attempt to set this channel (21.1) to record, I get an error message "No tuner is available to record the requested show." No tuners are in use at this time. But, if I want to watch the channel it plays without any problem. How can it play when there is not tuner or source for it???
Rescans don't fix the problem.
Ideas?

probably something fouled up in your database, if you post it I'll take a look.

edit: also have you restarted the recording service?

Yes, I have restarted the recording service with no change.

you only have that channel setup on one tuner (capture source #41). I'm not sure why it doesn't record, but that's secondary at this point.

check each tuner's channel list, rescan on whichever tuners are missing the channel and add the channel, and then merge in the Channels list (ctrl-click the channels, then right-click on the original channel and select Merge).

All channels that I can receive are now there and they all have four sources. No error messages now.
