Apologies if this is posted twice, my first attempt seems to have been eaten.

I am a noobie so I tried to follow the FAQ from top to bottom and searched the forums for this issue. I am in NA with OTA ATSC and Silicon Dust tuners and after following various instructions almost everything seems to be working except the EPG. At first I used the DVB/ATSC listings and I received just three hours of information after which it wouldn't load any more, even after time had past the end of what it previously loaded. I switched to Schedules Direct and followed the YouTube instructions but still not EPG. I do notice that in the video the last two steps are "Saving EPG Listings" and "Updating Recording Schedule" whereas I get "Checking for DVB/ATSC listings".

I also notice that under Misc2 there is "TV Guide Minutes" option that is defaulted to 180, I assume this is the amount visible not the amount loaded.

If I missed something that's already out there please point me to it. Other than this I really like the product, not too many dials and swicthed to play with to get it working.

You assume correctly.

Your npvr.log has this ...

Quote:2016-05-22 23:05:28.340 [ERROR][1] Unexpected error doing Schedules Direct login: System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.

Have you entered your Schedules Direct user and password correctly?

This 403 error can be caused by some firewall software too. So...check the username/password, and that NextPVR has permission to go out to the internet.

The error was caused by me troubleshooting and making sure I really had access to Schedules Direct. I added a letter to my user and it immediately reported the error then I corrected it and the error went away. So yes, I am sure I have access to Schedule Direct.

Hit the 'update epg' button, let it complete, then post the current npvr.log and I'll take a look.

There is a Schedules Direct problem at the moment, that should be fixed in a few hours, that causes a pile of channels to have no data in NextPVR. I should be able to tell if you're encountering this by seeing your npvr.log.

Thank you, I appreciate your time (I did donate to the project).

I have attached the logs but I doubt it is a Schedule Direct issue since the same happened when I used the DVB/ATSC (maybe not the exact name) option. In that case I got three hours of EPG and since then nothing. That's why I switched to SI.

Ohhh... It worked. Obviously just having you think about it solved the problem. I attached the logs anyway in case you want to compare the before and after for future reference. I wonder if it thought the EPG was already loaded.

Thanks

Great. As mention, Schedules Direct were working on it, and it was fixed a few hours later.
