I added this a while ago, but it doesn't seem to anything. Is there stuff to add to a bat? Does the dll need to go in plugin?

The dll goes in the root. It is an interface library. Currently fastfind uses it. And eventually guide2j.

You would add the zapimport user pass to your epg bat

Maybe I'm just missing a readme or instr page. How can I find out how to write the line to put into bat?

Tried the zapimport utility but it crashes on my machine with an unhandled exception.

Here is the output:

C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr>zapimport user password
Path C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\
Total Loaded 11940
Loading up schedules
root xtvd
children 6

Unhandled Exception: System.Data.OleDb.OleDbException: The INSERT INTO statement
contains the following unknown field name: 'endTime'. Make sure you have typed
the name correctly, and try the operation again.

at System.Data.OleDb.OleDbCommand.ExecuteCommandTextForSingleResult(tagDBPARA

ject& executeResult)

at zapmetadata.DatabaseHelper.AddSchedule(Schedule s)
at zapmetadata.ZapDataReader.persistSchedule(Schedule s)
at zapmetadata.ZapDataReader.loadSchedules(XmlNode rootNode)
at zapmetadata.MainClass.Main(String[] args)

The output is a little mangled because I clipped it from a dos box.

Is there any way to turn off the "genre" etc searches in fastfind ? Its very slow, even if the database is empty.

Thanks, Rich

The searches only appear if the database zapdb.mdb is found in the gbpvr directory. If you delete it, it is turned off.

As for the db problem above looks like you have an old zapdb.mdb Make sure the zapcleandb.mdb is updated.

The version I have was just downloaded from the wiki - .mdb files are dated 9/2/05. Is this the latest ?

Thanks, Rich

download xrecord and pull the files from there. I will have to update the zapimport archive. The date should be like 2/9/2005
