Trouble getting this to work on ipad

I thought I'd try the app on the iPad but all it does is continually search and never find the server. I stopped the service and put the ip address in manually but it's still not working.
Is it supposed to work on the iPad now or just the iphone?

Yep, it works on iPad too. My iPad mini is working fine.

What version iPad are you using? I check it here in the simulator.

Possibly firewall related. If you iphone and ipad are both connecting to your local wifi, I'd expect them to both have the same behaviour trying to connect.

I just tried the iPad Air in the simulator to make sure there wasn't anything odd about it connecting. It's seems to run fine in there.

Can you restart the recording service, then start the app on your iPad, then zip and attach your nrecord.log and web.log?

Sorry, you'll need to restart the recording service (to reset the logs), then start the app on the iPad, then attach both the nrecord.log and web.log.

I thought I did just that but just in case, I rebooted and did it all again. Hopefully these are good logs.
EDIT: I just tried the iphone and now it's not working. Hmmmm, I did nothing else. NPVR works just fine and the service is running.

There is no log files in that zip. Can you try posting the logs again?

Given neither your iphone or ipad are now connecting, and the looks look like web server is starting fine, and there is not even any locator messages in the nrecord.logs, it does look like firewall is the most likely cause. Can you temporarily try turning off the firewall to see if it springs into life?
