I've been able to get the iOS client to crash consistently on my iPhone 6S when doing the following:

1- trying to cancel a pending recording (not 100% of the time, but much of the time)
2- trying to cancel a recurring recoding (not 100% of the time, but much of the time)
2- switch away from the tv guide before it fully loads (100% unless I let the screen fully load)

Is this to a NextPVR server on the local network, or remote server across the internet (ie, slower responses)?

Sorry, should have mentioned that. I'm on the local network with the server. The guide loads within a couple of seconds, but if I do tap to go to another screen before it finishes loading, I can get it to crash every time.

If you temporarily set the following to false in your config.xml, and restart your recording service, does it make any difference?

<AutoRemoveMissingRecordings>false</AutoRemoveMissingRecordings>
<CheckForRenamedRecordings>false</CheckForRenamedRecordings>
<NoRemoveWhenTreeMissing>false</NoRemoveWhenTreeMissing>

I'll try that and report back. I'm not going to be able to do it today, but I should have time tomorrow.

Ok, no worries - I'm pretty sure it would be better with those set to false.

I installed the NShared you provided. It's significantly better. I can still get it to crash, but only if I go crazy clicking buttons and switching screens. What I did would definitely be well outside normal usage, so I'd call this solved.
