Samsung SmartTV & NextPVR 3.7.7 Upgrade

Ever since my upgrade to NextPVR 3.7.7 the SmartTV app often drops into the modern web interface "What's New" screen after I've finished playing
a show. As this screen is unresponsive to the Samsung remote control
I need to constantly exit and restart the SmartTV NextPVR app.
Is there a way to fix this behavior?

Hi meccano,

I've noticed that the web server often defaults to the modern interface not respecting the requested URL. I'll have to talk to sub about this.
I can't think of any workarounds ATM.

I may have a fix for you that should prevent the app from ending up in the modern web interface.


Update using the appLoader tool. Found here http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ung-and-LG
Run locally on your NextPVR server
You only need to update server side like the picture is showing and power cycle your TV to get the updated app.

I bypassed my original problem by turning off the modern web interface.
Your patch also works fine for me as it allows me to use the modern web interface again.
