EPG won't update since installing 3.8.3

Hi, I updated to 3.8.3 and everything seemed fine till EPG needed to update, the guide now shows "no show details" for every channel. Tried emptying EPG and updating, no luck. Tried uninstalling NextPVR and reinstalling latest version, No luck. I'm out of ideas, hope you can help. Attaching log file my log file. Thanks, Doug

It's a command line thing. Do you know how to do command line stuff?

I don't do Win10, but unless things have changed drastically, you go to your "Start" button, type "cmd" in the little search box, hit enter and a black command window will open up. In that window, type "nextpvr.exe -updatedb" and hit enter. This is just running nextpvr with a special command line option that does nothing but make sure your database is updated to the latest configuration. There's a couple of these command line option things, like one to only update the epg and stuff like that. Scour the wiki, you'll find them. They don't start nextpvr or anything, they just do little jobs that might need done. That way people can write batch files to do stuff without actually starting (or restarting) nextpvr

I'll bet that's a path thing. Probably have to change to the nextpvr directory to get it to be recognized. So before you type the "nextpvr.exe -updatedb" line, you'll have to type "cd c:\program files\npvr" and hit enter to get there. Are you in fact running win10? Perhaps some kind win10 user out there could verify that these steps are correct. needed a little tweak or two to get it to work with win 10, but all it seemed to do was open NextPVR I then tried to update the EPG from the settings with no luck. I have tried to uninstall NextPVR and deleted the file folder found under Users/ public. Then reinstalled Next PVR version 3.8.3 and it still shows no program details.

If you delete the folder then you have to do a full confguration add your tuners, channels epg info etc. Not recommended Martin |
