I am running the the 3.8.3 version.

I had just finished deleting a recording(episode 1) form a Series that has 2 recordings. When I click on the Back button to return to the previous window I get a unhandled exception. See screen capture. Here are the contents of the details section:

The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I have also included the log files. The escape key will also generate the exception(after clicking on Continue). I have to close NextPvr.

Bump.

New information. If there is just one recording to delete then everything works. I run into this problem when there are 2 or more recordings in the list and I delete one or more the recordings. The recordings are actually deleted from the folder.

Did you install the updated 3.8.3 (160929) build? I'm pretty sure that issue was fixed.

I just tried again (using 160929) and got the unhandled exception error. As the screen capture shows(first one) there are 3 episodes listed. I want to delete the 1st two. I delete the 1st episode and then proceed to click the BACK button. At this point I get the popup window showing the error.

The second screen capture shows the result of clicking the BACk button. The 1st episode has been deleted.
I also zipped and attached the log files.

Edit: the second screen capture did not get the popup window. So I went ahead and delete the second episode and again clicked on the BACK button. And again I get the popup error window. I have attached a third screen capture showing the result of click on the BACK button after deleting the second episode.

no, that's not what TV Listings looks like. that's the new-style metadata recording screen.

I get the same error by following the same steps: enable metadata recordings screen, enter a recording group with multiple recordings, delete one, select Back, unhandled exception.

(indeed, at this point there seems to be no way to exit back to the menu except by playing a recording and then exiting)

That patch did NOT seem to fix the problem.

Steps performed:
downloaded zip file
extracted NextPVR.exe from zip file.
went to Public/NextPVR/ folder
renamed existing NextPVR.exe to NextPVR.old.exe
copied new NextPVR.exe to Public/NextPVR folder
restarted computer
ran NextPVR
went to a show that had 2 episodes.
used the DELETE button to delete the 1st episode on the list.
click on the BACK button.
I got Unhandled exception error. see attached screen capture.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

renamed existing NextPVR.exe to NextPVR.old.exe
copied new NextPVR.exe to Public/NextPVR folder
It'd normally be in "C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR". Is that what you mean?
