NASCAR has started up and I think I already have a problem with Nextend. I've attached the relevant logs and the scripts I use for parallelprocessing.bat. The Daytona race was not extended as expected. The original recording was set to record from 2pm to 6pm and I added 30min of post-padding. Did post-padding mess things up? Should I have used --postgame? Should I be using <AutoExtendSportsEvents> in config.xml?

Hope you can help.

You are still running 2.0.6121.41882 . You missed my last two announcements that I changed servers and the port. With this low priced server I can keep the service running.

If you use sub's extend function SD doesn't support NASCAR. Also not sure if there are problem if you enable it and NextEND

Sorry, Martin. I downloaded from the Wiki and am now running 2.0.6174.31598.

I do not use NextPVR parameter <AutoExtendSportsEvents>. Next test will be the Atlanta race on Sunday.

Thanks for your help.

OK. I really don't know if NextEnd is behaving correctly just by looking at the logs. The NASCAR race this past Sunday appeared to end on time but I didn't seem to find log entries showing it was being monitored.

Would you please take a look and let me know if I'm setting everything up correctly?

Thanks.

"It is not you it is me" Unfortunately for both of us the change of the NASCAR sponsorship to Monster Energy broke the server API for NASCAR and NextEnd. The server has been updated and I have a new update on the wiki. It looks like both the Kobalt 400 and Boyd Gaming 300 this weekend should work now

I hope to have this weekend's IndyCar race working for the 12th after a bit more testing.

Good to hear it was easily diagnosed. Should be good for at least 5 years(I think...) with Monster Energy.

I'll install the new version from Wiki.

Thanks.

Good results with NextEnd this weekend. The log looks pretty good. The race finished before the scheduled end time of 7pm so the original stop time was used and I got all 3h30m of coverage. It's only a matter of time before a race runs long.

So far so good, Martin. Thanks for the fix-up.

No it wasn't good, I tried three races this weekend with the same bad results. I think something is going wrong on the server monitor and need to check on it..

Oh. Not good. When you have a minute, can you explain what my log showed that you considered bad results? What happened with your attempts?

The server response status

Code:
2017-03-12 18:41:05.286    [DEBUG][1]    LivePvrData.Data.Net.Responses.StatusResponse [Title=NASCAR Racing, Status=Start Delay, IsValid=True, IsActive=False, IsComplete=False, IsError=False, ]

Basically NextEnd is checking for the status of the race 20 minutes before the scheduled end time. The ESPN server call is returning to the server that it is in pre-race status so I tell NextEnd not to bother monitoring it. Races can be in this status for a while if the games is postponed. Server code seems ok, I will have to monitor ESPN on Saturday to see what is going on while the race is in progress.
