HI guys,

I have a serious problem since 2 months ago and I'm going to explain how it started,
I have a DVB-T dongle with IT9135 driver, I was using this device without any problem with the software that was with the device (totalmedia) and also I had tested DVBviewer (at that time I didn't know of Nextpvr). There was no problem until I got windows 10 anniversary update and also updated some drivers specially the bios driver. The problem started when I wanted to watch tv and it gave me error that "device is not detected" so by unplugging the dongle, closing the software and plugging again and opening the software I could resolve the issue. This happened about 4 or 5 times until one day I couldn't pass the error and it persisted. I've done anything that I could but no luck. I've asked my problem in some other forums and no answer came out. All those other softwares doesn't have such forums to support but thanks to this software I can ask my problem here with logs and it's very good even if I can't solve my problem. I have tested many softwares also Nextpvr which I found today. All of the softwares can detect my device but when I want to scan for channels they gives me error that "device is not detected" or "No hardware" or "device is being used by other softwares" or "Unable to locate tuner filter". It's very strange and it seems they detect my DVB-T dongle but they can not use it. I attached the logs and also filtercheck maybe someone can help me at last. In addition there is no problem with my dongle since I'm using it on my android tablet without any problem.
thanks for your support and the time you devote.

From the look of it, it's some driver problem. I remember users have issues with the drivers for these devices in the past.

In the logs it looks like this tuner is failing to connect to the Microsoft Network Provider (which is used to submit tuning requests). In it's current state, it looks like the device is unusable.

Sorry, I don't have any first hand experience with these devices, so don't have any advice on how to fix. I guess try looking for different versions of the drivers. Maybe try the original drivers that came with the device, if you can get them to install on Win10.

thanks for your answer but what about bios driver update? can the new driver cause this problem? I want to know if rolling back to previous bios driver can help. You mean just anniversary update of windows 10 is not compatible with IT9135 driver?

I have had a IT9135 tuner working well for several years with NextPVR. In Device Manager it is listed as Kworld UB499-2T but in Next PVR devices is listed as two IT9135 tuners. The driver I am using is provided by Afa Tech dated 25/3/2010 version 10.323.1.325. The only problem I have had is that one of the tuners goes off line after several weeks and only unplugging or a power off brings it back. Its not a current problem as my server now powers down USB sockets when it hibernates.

Thanks for your help but it seems that you are using windows 7 so there is no problem but I have latest build of windows 10 and the problem started after windows anniversary update. I don't mean that exactly the anniversary update caused the problem, maybe yes or maybe not, I don't know.
I saw today that there are two devices on nextpvr and one of them is Iptv which I don't know. can this iptv cause the problem and has conflict with my tuner?

No, this IPTV device wont be causing you any problem. Just ignore it.

Hi sub

I found these errors in the event viewer:

Driver install failed, result=0x80070422 for devnode 'USB\VID_048D&PID_9006&MI_00\6&23C601F2&0&0000'
Event Id

Driver install failed, result=0x80070422 for devnode 'SWD\IP_TUNNEL_VBUS\TEREDO_TUNNEL_DEVICE'
Event ID 121

I don't know what is teredo_tunnel_device but USB\VID_048D&PID_9006&MI_00 is my tuner.

You can still buy IT9135 tuners on Amazon but Vista is the newest version of Windows specified for the drivers!!! The 2010 driver seems to be the latest available and worked ok in Windows 8 for a year before I recently "Upgraded" to Windows 7.

I have just tried to install the driver on a Windows 8.1 machine and the install fails with "Driver is not intended for this platform" error

Hi sub,

I investigated more in order to detect what causes my device malfunctioning. Today I found a software named "Microsoft message analyzer" and captured the trace of my usb device and it shows one error and some warnings. The error is this:

USB:Control transfer failed with status pair USBD_STATUS_STALL_PID and STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL

and the warnings is this:

Missing URB information, releasing dispatch message from endpoint USBCommonGlobals

If you want to see the trace log yourself I can upload the file and you can see it by the Microsoft message analyzer.
Thanks for your support
