Hello,
Hoping someone might be able to tell me what a "bad status (6)" from the NextPVR PVR Client DLL means.
I'm running NextPVR 3.8.3 on a Win 10 (latest updates) media PC with my home office computer, a couple phones, an nVidia Shield, and another box connecting to it via Kodi and/or Web Browsers. On my office PC I'm running Windows 10 (lastest updates) with Kodi 17 B3 and everything was fine. With the new Krypton B4 release I thought I'd update my install. The update went fine but when I started Kodi the NextPVR addon wasn't working. Checking the logs I see reference to a bad status 6 (see log snip below and attached logs).
Out of curiosity I uninstalled Kodi completely and reinstalled 17 B3 from scratch. I get the same error. All of my other Kodi systems are working fine (all Jarvis). I've tried a clean 17 B4 now too. Haven't had a chance to try a clean Jarvis install yet. Either way, was hoping someone could tell me what the error code represents. I have to believe that is something on my Win 10 home office PC given that;
* The other Kodi NextPVR clients connect no problem
* I can connect to NextPVR from a browser
* Kodi 17 B3 was working and then wasn't after going to B4 and still wasn't after a complete uninstll and fresh B3 install
13:38:00 T:3156 DEBUG: PVR - PVR::CPVRClient::Create - creating PVR add-on instance 'NextPVR PVR Client'
13:38:00 T:3156 DEBUG: ADDON: Dll Initializing - NextPVR PVR Client
13:38:00 T:3156 DEBUG: SECTION:LoadDLL(D:\Program Files (x86)\Kodi\addons\pvr.nextpvr\pvr.nextpvr.dll)
13:38:00 T:3156 ERROR: ADDON: Dll NextPVR PVR Client - Client returned bad status (6) from Create and is not usable
Anyway, attached are my log files (anonymized). I didn't include the web log as there weren't any entries relating to the client connenction and anonymizing the log represent flow challenges. Looking at the NextPVR loges there aren't any entries relating to the Kodi client attempting to connect and in the Kodi log there are only 4 entries. The Kodi log is as clean as I could make it (stop Kodi, delete log, start Kodi, wait for add-on/library updates, turn on debug logging, try to enable NextPVR client, stop Kodi).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
