SD EPG Issues - Uninstall?

I'm not getting SD EPG data since upgrading, error below.
I've seen others had issues since upgrading but not seen this specific error.
Should I go down the uninstall/install/upgrade path that has been suggested or does this seem like something else?
All checks against SD site seem OK to me.

I am guessing Windows XP SSL problems can you see this page from IE on that XP machine https://json.schedulesdirect.org/2014120.../mfdb-json

Oh, I tried it earlier in Chrome and it was OK but it hadn't occurred to me that I should have tried IE and it fails in that.
Is there something I can do?
Has something changed in this release, it was working before the NPVR update.

I can't answer you question but for TLS

Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced. Under Security make sure TLS 1.0 is enabled and SSL is disabled.

Unticked all SSL (SSL 3.0 was ticked) but still no go with https://json.schedulesdirect.org/2014120.../mfdb-json.
Will look again in the morning.

OK so no joy here today. Does anyone know if there were changes in 3.8.3 that would cause this to fail?
I guess going back is probably my best bet for now.
I've started looking for a new PC (W10?) but that's not imminent.

I've reached the end on my EPG data today so I need to fix it or move to plan B.
Do others use Schedules Direct under XP OK? Mine was working fine before the 3.8.3 upgrade.
If I go back to the 3.7 can I still use my 3.8 database, or easily downgrade it using SQLLiteSpy?

Going by the error, it sounds like something has become broken with either your .NET runtime, or certificates (or you've got your time years wrong on your PC). Installing an old version of NextPVR is unlikely to fix this. I'm guessing it's just a coincidence you noticed it around 3.8.3.

Thanks for the reply Sub, but I'm stumped now.

This is a dedicated NPVR server so no other software installs/updates recently. I've reinstalled .Net 4, checked date/time (OK) and cleared the certificates cache, still no go.

Trying https://json.schedulesdirect.org/2014120.../mfdb-json on the server replies OK in Chrome but gives 'Cannot connect' error in IE.
However, trying https://www.lloydsbank.com/ connects OK in IE but https://www.microsoft.com does not so that seems to confirm that it's site certificate related.

Anyway, mc2xml works OK on my PC (not on the server) so I guess for now I'll have to download from SD using that, change npvr to XML and push the server upgrade further up the todo list.

Saw this post, thought I might help since I run 3.4.8 on an XP machine, went and looked, same exact problem as OP.

Reinstalled .net 4, made sure time was right, tried the json link in IE, it failed. (Works fine in Firefox, though.)

Trying to select a lineup from Settings->Channels->Details gives "Unable to communicate with Schedules Direct. Please try again later."

Did SD do something interesting lately that would make it not work with XP? This machine has worked perfectly for two years and the last (recurring) recording was made on 10/29/16, so it had EPG at least up until then.
