When I click TV Listings or TV Recordings I get the error in the attached screenshot. The default TV Guide and Recordings menu items seem to work alright. I've never had any trouble with the TV Listings plugin after an upgrade before. I looked to see if there might be a newer version available, but link provided in the wiki has the same version I'm using, 3.7.1.27238.

Yep. It is broken and will need to be updated by alibert but unfortunately he's not visited the forum since july. In the meantime you will need to do as I have and switch back to the built in guide and recordings. you could try sending him a private message as he might then get an email.

I'd actually rather downgrade NPVR. I tried installing the previous version but that didn't work. What do I have to do to downgrade?

What does it show you in the details button on where it is failing.

I closed NPVR and stopped the recording service and then ran the installer for 3.8.3. It said it succeeded, but NPVR still reports 3.9.2 as the installed version.

Edit: I just tried it again and it said it completed. Didn't see any errors, but it looks like it skipped every single file and left 3.9.2 intact. Is there something else I should have done?

I tried to reinstall 3.8.3 over 3.9.2 with no luck. I ended up opening c:\program files (x86)\npvr and removing any filer newer than september 2016-ish. Then I reinstalled 3.8.3 without problem. Proceed at your own risk.

Downgrading no longer necessary. Sub posted a patch in another thread.

@LeGrandZombie, Has the patch worked for anybody? All the comments I saw said it didn't work for them.

I tried downgrading by:
Uninstall ->
Reboot ->
Rename c:\program files (x86)\npvr to c:\program files (x86)\npvr.old ->
Install using version 3.8 setup file

It didn't work, it still says version 3.9.2 in settings.

What else do I need to do to downgrade? @27InchSony, are you sure you are running 3.8.3?
