HDHomerun Connect is being seen as a "Prime" in settings->devices.

Hi,

I just received a HDHomerun Connect, installed it and tried to perform a scan. But in settings->devices, npvr is reporting it as a Prime and not as an ATSC device.
I tried scanning it anyway, but produced "0" results, whereas HDHR setup is reporting in excess of 50 channels.

What am I doing wrong?

Note: I do have a Prime operating on the network.

If you disable your firewall, does it find the channels?

Did you install the HDHR software on you PC? Also note do not use NextPVR as the BDA mode, Default or MediaPortal are better choices.

Sub - Yes, did not find the ATSC tuner

Martin - I had not installed HDHR software on the PC. After I did, the ATSC devices appeared in the Devices page and I was able to scan and detect all 52 channels with BDA set to nextpvr.
