Support for WinTV-PVR-USB (not USB2)

I was hoping that GB-PVR would support the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-USB - not the newer -USB2... But I just tried installing GB-PVR on my desktop, and the tuning assistant complains about being unable to find the crossbar filter. Any chance the -USB and -USB2 models are close enough that GB-PVR could also work on it?

I'd be happy to help collect info on the -USB, if it would help...

No, unfortunately they are quite different and it only works with the WinTV PVR USB2. Sorry.
