I've just uploaded http://www.gbpvr.com/GBPVR09111.msi

This is essentially the same release as the v0.91.9 release that was posted a couple of days ago. It contained a bug that would stop a few skins working on the MVP, so I disabled downloads of that release so I could fixed the problem. Daylight Savings also happened in a US the next day, so decided to wait a couple of days to see if there was anything else I'd need to address.

Anyway, enough with the excuses....

From the change.log:

Quote:2005-04-02 v0.91.11
- Fixed a bug with the MVP when using a skin which includes a panel (like Next Recording, Clock etc).
- Updated web admin with normanr's latest enhancements.

2005-04-02 v0.91.9
- Fixed a bug that could cause GB-PVR to lock up when exiting playback of timeshift files or recordings that were still in progress.
- Fixed a couple of USB-UIRT bug (remote learning form, and InterCodeDelay)
- Fixed a music playlist bug that could stop playback at the end of the first song on the MVP after returning to the main menu.
- The GO7007SB devices now default to recording MP3 audio for AVI recordings, but you can disable this by editing the <GO7007SBPreferMP3Audio> setting in config.xml
- Attempted to to fix an audio problem some users were reporting, with audio missing until the channel was changed in live preview mode. I've been unable to reproduce the problem myself, but I have made a small change which may resolve the issue.
- Fixed a couple of other minor bugs.

GB-PVR tries to perform an inplace upgrade, but I recommend you back up your GB-PVR directory in case of unexpected problems.

Having a problem w/ the web part. It wouldn't work as usualy after update, so I deleted all but gbweb.dll and gbweb.pdb and restarted. Now it runs w/ an error icon at bottom about line 3, the background seems missing, and after trying to log in, it has an error "Error finding config.xml"

Right you are. I'd forgotten to include a new web file in the package. I've just corrected this and uploaded it again (and tried it on a fresh machine).

Its pretty minor, so I didn't bother changing the version number or installer filename.

Didn't change anything. I tried both modify and repair, and the web is still not working right (did the delete again, too). Maybe just post the file that is needed?

You can tell if you've got the new files if there is a "C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\web\public" directory

You may need to uninstall, then reinstall the new version.

Possible problem:

I just installed 0.91.11 completely fresh. Scheduled my recordings, and as a test wanted to change the recording quality of one of them. Went to RECORDINGS, PENDING and selected the one i wanted, then hit UPDATE and got "Object reference not set to instance of an object..."

Anyone confirm?

FYI I just upgraded to 91.11 and there is about 1-2 seconds (half-dozen times or so) of flickering when Live TV starts. It does not happen when changing channels. This did not happen for me in 91.09.

Its nothing thats been changed since 91.9.

Honestly, I ran a source control tool query and visually checked the three lines of code that had changed since 91.9 (all MVP related). There were no other changes to GB-PVR.

The release also included updated web files, but these are very separate.

Either something has changed on your machine, or you were just lucky and didn't happen to see (or notice) that it was also present for you in 91.9

I suppose its possible, or related to something else, but it is mighty coincidental.

BTW, the web admin is no longer working in my install. I did an inplace install and tested it after the video problem noted above. When it didn't work I reran the MSI and did a repair, same result. I copied in the "web" directory from the previous (91.9) install witch had the "gbweb-enhanced.v12.zip" version of web admin installed and working --- this does not work either.

I may end up having to do a clean install.
