NextPVR Crashing Windows 10 (Tuner = AvarTV Hybrid Volar MAX H826)

I installed 4.0.4 and it crashed either during or after it finished scanning channels (I was away from computer at the time). I scanned again and it completed successfully. I then updated EPG and it crashed again while I was away. Logs attached. Any thoughts on how to resolve this?

What are the symptoms of the crash? Are there messages on screen? Is there anything in the Windows Event Log?

With apologies if I am stating the bleedin' obvious ... Do you have the latest drivers for the tuner? Are the drivers for Windows 10 (assuming ...) ?

No apologies needed. I'm not well versed in the Windows Event Log, but here is what I see as far as Application Errors in the Windows log:

I will try and re-produce again, but it was I received a pop-up that the program (NextPVR) has stopped working correctly, etc. and it shutdown when I hit okay or whatever.

Windows 10 automatically installed the drivers for my tuner and I couldn't find any other drivers on the manufacture's site for my specific model.

We used to see regularly see crashes in psisdecd.dll back 10 years, but it's been pretty stable since then. This is either the "BDA MPEG2 Transport Information Filter" or "MPEG-2 Sections and Tables" filter, which both live in this DLL. Both Microsoft components.

Maybe your broadcaster is doing something odd a channel that these Microsoft components don't like. Are you finding a specific channel that always causes issues?

It's possible. It's happened when I scan channels and update EPG. It's been successful on both, but takes a few tries. I've had no issues (other than some channels not deciding correctly) with watching or recording anything. Problem only seems to happen when scanning channels or updating EPG.
