I have scanned my channels through Hdhomerun setup and deleted a bunch of them in the channel lineup, duplicates and music and unwanted. How can I transfer that scan to Nextpvr. I have tried to scan in the device settings, but see "LOCK:none (ss=57snq=0seq=0)"
I have an existing channel list, but had to rescan with a tuning adapter to pick up some new ones. The scan in Hdhomerun setup took an agonizing 1.5 hours to complete. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but it's been about a year since I set it up originally.

Are these actually cablecard channels or is it ATSC/QAM?

Normally a HDHR Prime scan would be nearly instant on this type of device in NextPVR, since it'll just read the existing channel list from:

http://<hdhr-ip-address>/lineup.xml?show=unprotected

If this isn't happening, try hitting the Scan button, then post your npvr.log and I'll take a look

Cable card ...yes. There are around 100 channels after i trimmed duplicates and music. There is a tuning adapter with the HD Homerun prime which makes the scan very slow there. The xml of the channel is visible in my browser when I put in the ip address as you showed me. When I hit scan in nextpvr devices HDHR Prime first or any of 3 tuners, it starts scanning at 158 and counts down slowly with empty result when finish scan. I see no paperclip to attach my logs. Problem with Chrome? I will try with IE.

Can you see if it helps to stop the recording service, and replacing your existing c:\program files (x86)\npvr\nutility.dll, with the updated one from https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...can-Issues

It worked in a second...bam! Did something go wrong with my setup that altered the original dll ?

Seems fine now...thanks a bunch! I downgraded when I was having problems, okay to go back to latest now?

It's a bug in the most recent build. I only became aware of it yesterday.

One more issue...when I go to the channel list and select channel details to assign EPG source to schedules direct, I get an unhandled exception error. I stopped and restarted the service and still get the same.

Any ideas?

I searched the forum and found a shared.dll patch that fixed it.
