EPG to see new catagory LIVE

Hi,

I use ZAP2IT to provide me my EPG. ZAP2IT indicates new episodes by using the word NEW in the description. Recently they introduced the word LIVE to indicate a new live show. NextPVR will not record the show or indicate it is LIVE in the TV Guide listings.

Would it be possible to include a new feature to record LIVE shows and indicate it is a LIVE show in the TV Guide Listings? In essence they are NEW shows, just categorized as LIVE.

Just a thought.

What do you mean it wont record a show marked as LIVE? It shouldn't be any different from any other show. If you want to post a log showing an attempt to record one of these shows, I'll check what went wrong.

I think I reported this issue before, NextPVR doesn't have a Live field or OSD indicator but the SD JSON liveTapeDelay tag is mapped to FirstRun so it is treated as New. Not sure what happens with XMLTV data.

I can record the show that is listed as LIVE, but I have to manually set it up everytime. When I set up recording other shows, I select Record all NEW episodes, and I only get the NEW episodes. In September I wanted to record NEW episodes of Saturday Night Live, I set up recording new episodes and nothing would record. I looked at the Zap2it listing for the show and that's when I noticed the new category of LIVE for live shows.

I successfully recorded the show when I manually set it everytime the show was listed.
