I have uploaded 2.5.3 to the repo with the following changes.

- Fixed recording list for NextPVR 4.04
- Fixes for IPv6 hostname
- Fixes for remote timeout recovery
- Cosmetic change Classic skin
- auto discovery of NextPVR
- fix for milliseconds in NPVR.db3
- fix for VLC playback of files

Web Client changes

- Configure context menu key action
- Context will stop in Video Playback
- Context will exit web client or provide full pop up of many options
- F12 exit web client
- toggle subtitles key
- more MCE keys- support plugin URLs passed from NextPVR

Toggle subtitles should relate to a request you made to have toggle subtitles including closed captioning from the remote

More MCE keys means more MCE remote keys working on devices that fully support them.

The plugin item is basically a means for NextPVR plugins to call Kodi addons. I use it in Searchlite to play YouTube videos. I was hoping to update the NextPVR YouTube plugin but was not able to get in touch with whurlston for the source.

That's what I was hoping. But it doesn't seem to be working for me. So I thought maybe I was missing something that needed to be setup. See the kodi.log in the attached about 11:43.

I kind of figured that part out. :p I was asking to see if you could provide a list of the new keys that would work.

I don't see any Kodi subtitle key getting mapped properly from LIRC.

I had a look at this with my RPI3 and I noticed that the RPI doesn't allow subtitles to overlary with the NextPVR interface. However the default keystroke to flip subtitles on the MCE remote (Star) does toggle them off and on when the default player (with the back key is running).

Do you have any idea why the RPi doesn't allow it with the NextPVR interface? Is it a Kodi thing? Or an RPi firmware thing?

I suspect RPI video player thing. If you check in sub's PVR Addon for NextPVR the video won't even play minimized from the channels interface and when it runs in the background with a skin UI closed captioning doesn't display either in LE and OSMC. In LE 8.0.2 on my Chromebox they are fine and both my Android boxes (Mi Box and FTV) work too.

I got tired of updating the configuration on all my client box testing so x-newa should discover the first server it finds if the IP setting is 127.0.0.1 and it can't connect. Proper configuration is still recommended over the broadcast method.
