No bitstream audo from NextPVR

I'm almost there...Logs attached (see, I did read the READ BEFORE POSTING).
I have my HTPC connected to my TV via a HDMI cable. I have an optical cable from the TV to my AVR for audio. I also have Kodi installed (with the NextPVR plug-in) as well as X-NEWA. However, I'd prefer to use NextPVR as the front end.
If I watch live TV or a recording in NextPVR my receiver only gets a PCM signal. However, if I watch the same shows in Kodi or X-NEWA I get bitstream audio. I've tried several audio decoders (SAF6) but they all give the same results.
What do I need to do to get bitstream from NextPVR?

I don't personally use bitstream audio here, but it's just going to come down to the audio decoder you're using, and it's settings. It may also depend on the audio renderer you've selected.

Well I got it working but I don't know what I did. I played around with my playback devices and NextPVR decoders. It is now working with the same decoder I tried previously (Microsoft).
Now on to why I can't get a windowed view since the last update...

For me, 4.0.5 goes in and out of windowed mode when pressing At + Enter ... Plus, the Start in fullscreen mode tickbox at NextPVR Settings --> General works as expected. Do you have Video Renderer set to EVR at Settings --> Decoders? Now that I have read the other post ... I see that my comments are not relevant ...
