Cant autopopulate epg

Hi I am a noobie so please forgive my ignorance. I can populate the epg if I go to channels and manually update epg, but it will not auto update at the time I have listed in Misc2 page of settings menu. I only have 4 channels and I am trying to update them through the Antenna with ATSC. I will try to include logs. Thanks in advance for your help.

Unfortunately the broadcast EPG in the USA is rubbish. They only broadcast a few hours of listings, which is next to useless. Most people in the US either get a Schedules Direct account, or use zap2xml to get their listings. I can see your automated EPG update is working fine, and is pulling in listings at the time you've configured. My guess is, that you come back and look a few hours later, and you're already past the listings.

The rest of the world typically get a week or so of listings from the broadcast.

When I manually update it I get 24 hrs worth of data and when I auto update it I get 0 data

It definitely did pull in the listings that were available at the scheduled time.

Did you try restarting NextPVR.exe to see if they'd show up?

Yes I shutdown and restarted (20 minutes past autoupdate time) and still no data in epg.

If you want to supply your logs, and npvr.db3 database, soon the next EPG update time, I'll check it out.

Most people would run the EPG update at like 2am or similar though, because you want to be sure the tuner isn't tied up with recording etc, otherwise the EPG update might not happen that day.

Sequence of events:
01/18 2300 manually updated epg on channels page
01/19 0815 Manually emptied epg on channels page and reset auto update time for 0830
01/19 0930 checked epg - no listings
01/19 0930 zipped logs and npvr.db3

I am seeing listings when I use your database.

Are you trying to view the guide in NextPVR UI, or somewhere else like the web app, kodi, emby etc?
